What makes a beautiful couple? Their spirit. This couple had an amazing spirit! Amazing families and friends. This wedding was one of my favorites from 2009. Scott and Tem Photography captured every special detail(I love them).
Julie and Matt welcomed their guests with a Texas style BBQ dinner at Sammy’s BBQ. Yeehaw!
This moment is the reason I’m a wedding planner. When a bride and groom see each other for the first time-you know it was meant to be.
This couple had every vendor in tears. Truly a pleasure to work with Julie and Matt! Their fabulous team was: The Adolphus Hotel; Scott and Tem Photography, The Wildflower, A Very Special Day , Jackie Spratt Cakes, The Project Band, The M Collection.

I promised a new post soon, so I thought I’d highlight some of my favorite moments from 2009!
Bonny and Dan Hollas had a fabulously “country chic” wedding at Austin Ranch! It was so sweet, and completely them! Such a sweet couple…
The Urban Blossom perfectly arranged these beautiful centerpieces. Margaret Lake captured the occasion!
Switching gears a little, the Greenspan Bat Mitzvah was a roaring success! The M&M theme was so colorful and yummy! Sara was perfectly poised and confident and did a great job on the bima. Check out the images from Winn at Imagine Studios USA
Spice of Life catered the fun affair at the Old Red Courthouse. DJ’s Etc. kept the party going! Doug Burress provided the festive Green Screen. The sketch artist was from Dallas Party. The M&M’s gave us all just enough sugar to dance all night! The party was a blast!
While we’re on the subject, Winn also photographed the Blake’s Bar Mitzvah…a great service followed by a fun beach themed party at Temple Emanu’El. My great team: DJ’s Etc., Blue Mesa, I-Entertainment, Pic Flips, Cindy Markman Tattoos, and Shag Carpet! Thanks everyone!
More fun…
Rachel had a Tiffany themed Bat Mitzvah complete with little blue boxes and diamonds. Check our her sign in board..it’s Rachel dressed as Audrey. How fabulously fun! This was such a perfectly detailed party at Bent Tree Country Club!

Let me tell you something about Beth Petrey and Stan Finch: they are completely and utterly in love! What a beautiful wedding to celebrate their union (Tenessee and Texas, that is). Talk about a bride that enjoyed her day! She was beaming! Stan looked so handsome as he waited for his bride.
The details:
The ceremony and reception were held at Arlington Hall at Lee Park, Marty Younkin with Love Notes Weddings performed the ceremony, Kristin Colaneri provided hair and makeup styling services, Serenata Strings played for the ceremony, Brooks and Leigh Whittington captured the fabulous affair; Bella Flora designed the space; Switch Lighting added ambiance; Ed Petty with Party Time Production kept them dancing, the cake was Frosted Art, and Blue Diamond Limos drove them into the night.
Here are some of our favorite moments of the celebration:
The moments just before a father walks his little girl down the aisle are priceless.
The detail shots are stunning. That blue hydrangea was the perfect shade! Cesar got it right on the spot!
The guys (and some gals!) enjoyed personalized cigars on the balcony.
Isn’t this a great Groom’s Cake? So creative!
Love this moment of friendship.
A perfect way to end the evening!
Blessings to you both! What a wonderful first year you have in front of you!

So, my little girl, Zoe Elizabeth (Lizzie) turns ONE on July 1st! Of course, we had to celebrate with a fun party! I am blessed to have a wonderful group of family and friends that were delighted to rally together to celebrate our Bear.
Being the party planner that I am, I couldn’t have an ordinary party..I had to make it totally “Lizzie”! (Hey, I’m a party planner, not a photographer, so don’t judge me on the photos!)
It started with the invitations: Three Sixty Events did a great job creating unique custom birthday invitations for my little girl. We mailed party hat invitations to everyone!
Our guests were greeted by a photo of Lizzie taken by my friend Tina Tackett. Lizzie was wearing pink and orange in the photo, it was perfect!
When Lizzie was born, our friends gifted us with Fizzy Lizzy drinks! I thought they were so cute and perfect for the party, I made sure orange and pink balloons were tied to the Fizzy Lizzy Drinks! They were a perfect addition! The guests sipped on Izze Drinks and Fizzy Lizzy Drinks in hot pink and orange..perfect for the festivities!
I’ve blogged about her before, but I HAD to share with you my favorite part of the party! The Lizzie cupcake toppers! Everyone raved over the adorable designs as they added such a dimension of fun to the event. We were thrilled with the outcome! Lizzie’s cute face all over the place! Bug and Boo Designs created these amazing little treats! I love them! Society Bakery made the cupcakes (they are my favorite cupcakes in town!)
We asked our guests to bring a new or gently used toy to donate to a wonderful organization, Dallas Life Shelter. We were thrilled with the generosity of our family and friends! Thank you!
The kiddos left with the perfect summer party favor, bubbles!
Lizzie after digging into her cupcake!
Happy Birthday to our sweet Lizzie!

We’re proud to announce that a Paige Chenault Events wedding was chosen to be featured in D Weddings Fall 2009 magazine. Of course, we’re thrilled to be featured, but we’re even more excited for our Bride and Groom and their fantastic wedding!
Before we go much further, I must admit that Leah and Michael Burratti were the brain trust behind this spectacular day, we were merely there to make sure their vision came to life (and boy did it!).
Congrats to Leah and Michael Burratti! Check out the article and photos in the latest issue of D Weddings Magazine on newstands now!
